Attorney Alan Jackson Declares 'Nick Reiner Is Not Guilty of Murder' After Quitting Case: Read His Comments
Nick Reiner‘s former lawyer, Alan Jackson, quit the case this morning but just said some remarks outside of the court house.
He was previously defending Nick, who is accused of murdering his parents Rob and Michele Reiner.
Outside of the courthouse today, Jackson gave a brief press conference where he said he could not fully reveal why he had to withdraw from the case.
He also proclaimed: “Nick Reiner is not guilty of murder.”

Jackson said, “My team and I remain deeply, deeply committed to Nick Reiner and to his best interests. We’re not just convinced. We know that the legal process will reveal the true facts about the circumstances about this case, Nick’s case. A lot has been printed about Nick, about his family….speculation…On December 15, in the early morning hours…I got a call. Me and my team, we dropped everything.”
He said for the last three weeks they’ve worked tirelessly to investigate, up until today.
“What we’ve learned, and you can take this to the bank, is that pursuant to the law in California. Nick Reiner is not guilty of murder. Print that. Print that. We wish him the very best moving forward,” Jackson added.
The family released a statement after court.
