As part of the deal, the 62-year-old actor will pay Janet a “non-modifiable” $10,000 per month in spousal support through 2035, based on their respective average monthly incomes.
The exes will also evenly split Eric’s community-property earnings from projects completed during their marriage, including residuals and royalties tied to Will & Grace, Lego Masters, Atypical, Murdoch Mysteries, and more. Janet is entitled to half of the intellectual property tied to those works as well.
They’ll divide bank accounts, investments, Eric‘s retirement plans, airline miles, and property, with Janet keeping multiple vehicles and real estate holdings, while Eric retains a beach house and income from projects completed outside the marriage. The former couple will also continue sharing expenses related to their 23-year-old son, Finn.
Janet filed for divorce in 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences,” after 26 years of marriage.
