'He just admitted it!' Trump's 'insane' confession in 'broad daylight' shocks analyst
President Donald Trump built his brand on making moves that no one else thought possible, and his latest could be his most "stunning" yet, according to one Democratic analyst.
During a press conference on Monday, Trump made a slight reference to a video of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro seemingly mocking Trump's dancing when asked about his motivation for arresting him over the weekend. The reference seemed to confirm reporting from The New York Times that Maduro's video ticked off Trump, and that was the impetus for his administration deciding to conduct the raid.
Progressive YouTuber Brian Tyler Cohen discussed Trump's comments on Tuesday in a new reaction video on his channel. He described the comments as a "pretty stunning confession."
"Invading a foreign country because its leader mocked your dance moves like Season 6 of 'Lost' level ridiculousness," Cohen said. "And even if it were the reason, it would be even more insane for Trump to actually acknowledge as much."
Cohen then played a clip from the press conference where Trump said, "He's a violent guy. He gets up there, and he tries to imitate my dance a little bit, but he's a violent guy."
"He just admitted it in broad daylight," Cohen added.
