Ashley Tisdale's Rep Responds to Rumor That Mandy Moore & Hilary Duff Were In the 'Toxic Mom Group' & If She's a Republican

Ashley Tisdale went viral in the last few days for writing an essay on her experience with a “toxic mom group.”

If you don’t know, the 40-year-old High School Musical star has been married to her husband Christopher French since 2014 and they have two daughters together: Jupiter Iris, 4, and Emerson Clover, 1.

The essay went viral as many were speculating that the friend group she’s referring to might be a group of celeb moms that includes Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, and Meghan Trainor. Some were also speculating that perhaps political views were part of the decisions made within the mom group.

Now, Ashley‘s rep is clearing up the rumors.

Ashley‘s rep told TMZ that the essay is not about Mandy, Hilary, or Meghan! Her rep also shared that any talk that she’s a MAGA Republican is not accurate because Ashley is actually a registered Democrat.

The site added, “this whole thing got blown way out of proportion… and Ashley’s already putting a lid on it, making it clear this was never about Mandy, Hilary, Meghan, or politics.”
