Jacob Tierney Reacts to 'Heated Rivalry' Star François Arnaud Saying He Filmed 'Like 2 Days' of Intimate Scenes: 'He's Lying'
Jacob Tierney is setting the record straight about Scott and Kip’s filming for Heated Rivalry episode three.
The creator, writer and director of the hit series recently reacted to star François Arnaud, who plays Scott Hunter, talking about the amount of sex scenes he filmed for the episode with co-star Robbie G.K.

“There isn’t that much sex in our episode,” François told EW earlier this month. “We shot a lot more than there is. I don’t know, maybe they’re saving it for later, but we shot a lot, like two days of sex scenes. We knew we wanted it to be sweet, sometimes clumsy, joyful, and easy, and not for an audience. Just for them to have that moment.”
In a new interview with EW that dropped on Christmas day, Jacob refuted that claim, saying he was a little over dramatic.
“He didn’t. He’s lying,” Jacob jokingly said. “I mean, he’s not lying. He’s being an actor.”
“His two days were like one afternoon,” he continued, admitting that they did shoot more than what was aired on the show. “Sweet François. As soon as I saw the interview, I was like, ‘People are gonna f–king come at me now.’ … I texted him, ‘What are you talking about?’ He was like, ‘Didn’t we?’ And I was like, ‘No, we didn’t.’”

The Heated Rivalry season one finale airs Friday (December 26) at midnight ET on Crave and HBO Max, which will feature more Scott and Kip, though it is mostly centering on the main couple, Shane and Ilya.
