When Tottenham’s five injured players are expected to return, including Dejan Kulusevski
Three Tottenham Hotspur players could be back in action over the coming weeks, but a couple more could be out of action for a while.
Tottenham’s injury situation at the moment is bad by normal circumstances, but given what the club have experienced over the last couple of years, it does not feel like a major crisis.
Six players are currently on the treatment table, while Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr are also unavailable due to their participation in the AFCON.
However, there could be some light at the end of the tunnel for Tottenham Hotspur on the injury front.
Three Tottenham players could return to action in January
The Standard have now provided potential return dates for all of Tottenham’s injured players based on the latest information they have.
Despite rumours going around about Dominic Solanke having suffered a setback in his recovery, they point to Frank’s statement that the striker is ‘progressing’ and they predict he will be back in action in January.
Destiny Udogie, who suffered a hamstring injury at the end of November, is also expected to be back next month, which is also expected to be the case with Dejan Kulusevski.
Two Spurs players could be further away from a return to action
The Standard reveal that Kota Takai recently featured for Tottenham’s Under-21s, which appears to be a big step forward on his road back to action.
However, they say that it is unclear when the Japanese international will be ready to play for the first team.
The outlet suggests that James Maddison is not expected to be fully fit until the summer. This comes after Maddison admitted that he has all but given up on his England World Cup dream.
