Lindsey Vonn Qualifies for 2026 Winter Olympics After Super G Tournament
Lindsey Vonn has qualified for the 2026 Milano Cortina Games.
After retiring in 2019 because of knee injuries, the 41-year-old has now qualified for the 2026 Milano Cortina Games following back-to-back bronze medals in the Super G tournament.

She posted a celebratory update on Instagram to announce the great news.
“I have officially qualified for the Olympics in Cortina!!! @teamusa,” she wrote on Tuesday (December 23).
“I am honored to be able to represent my country one more time, in my 5th and final Olympics! When I made the decision to return to ski racing, I always had one eye on Cortina because it’s a place that is very, very special to me,” Lindsey wrote.
She continued, “Although I can’t guarantee any outcomes, I can guarantee that I will give my absolute best every time l kick out of the starting gate. No matter how these games end up, I feel like I’ve already won.”
Next year will mark her fifth Olympic Winter Games.
