Bhitarkanika National Park to be closed for 3 days for crocodile census
Bhitarkanika National Park will temporarily close to tourists from January 8-10 for the annual saltwater crocodile census. Over 20 teams, including experts, will meticulously count reptiles across the river system and creeks. This vital exercise aims to gather crucial data on the crocodile population, utilising advanced techniques for accurate assessment.
