'Percy Jackson & the Olympians' Season 3 Adds 3 More Actors to the Cast, Including Who Will Play Atlas
The cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians just got a bit bigger!
Three actors have been added to the new and returning cast, including a key figure in the story – Holt McCallany, David Costabile and Jesse L Martin, according to Deadline.

Holt (pictured left) has been cast as the Titan named Atlas in a recurring role. Titan is “also known as the Bearer of Heaven, who was condemned by Zeus to hold up the celestial heavens after the last Titan war against the Olympians. Atlas has recently been freed from his burden and now seeks to lead the armies of Kronos in a war of vengeance.”
He is reportedly set to appear in six episodes in season three as his character is the primary antagonist.
David (pictured center) will also have a recurring role, taking on the role of Dr. Thorn, who is “a stern military academy headmaster who demands obedience from his students.” Dr Thorn is just his human manifestation…
Jesse (pictured right) will appear as a guest star in season three as Frederick Chase, Annabeth’s (Leah Sava Jeffries) mortal father, “a sometimes absentminded but truly brilliant military historian that Athena deemed worthy to parent her daughter.” The character descriptions says, “though Frederick and Annabeth have had a complicated relationship, he loves her, and they have been finding a way back to each other.”
The three actors join previously announced Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo, Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo, Dafne Keen as Artemis, Saara Chaudry as Zoe Nightshade and Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite.
