Where Are the 'Everybody Loves Raymond' Child Stars Today? Update on Sweeten Family Kids
The cast of Everybody Loves Raymond is reunited for a CBS special last month, and a special part 2 event is airing tonight to continue celebrating the beloved hit TV show’s 30th anniversary.
You may recall that three real life siblings played the children on the show: Madylin Sweeten played Ally Barone, and her brothers, twins Sullivan and Sawyer, portrayed Jeffrey and Michael Barone.
We have updates on the family today.
Keep reading to find out more…
Madylin is married to a man named Sean Durrie and they have a son, River, who was born this past April! She did keep acting over the years, having appeared in shows and movies like Lucifer, Grey’s Anatomy, New Year’s Eve, and Sam and Me. She is now 34 years old, and appeared in 206 episodes of the hit series. She’s active on Instagram, and you can give her a follow.
Sullivan has really kept out of the spotlight over the years. He did appear in a short, titled Casting, back in 2017. He appeared in 142 episodes of the series, and is now 30 years old.
While watching, you may notice that one of the twins on the series, Sawyer Sweeten, is not with the rest of the cast.
Sawyer tragically died by suicide at the age of 19 in April of 2015.
Sawyer‘s older sister Madylin shared the tragic news with Us Weekly at the time of his passing.
“This morning a terrible family tragedy has occurred,” she shared in a statement. “We are devastated to report that our beloved brother, son, and friend, Sawyer Sweeten, took his own life. He was weeks away from his 20th birthday. At this sensitive time, our family requests privacy and we beg of you to reach out to the ones you love.”
The cast of the series reacted to the tragedy at the time as well.
Our thoughts are with the Sweeten family, and all of Sawyer‘s loved ones.
