• Learn about coho salmon with a Marin Water fish biologist at the “Holidays with the Coho” walk and talk from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 10 at the Leo T. Cronin Fish Viewing Area in Lagunitas. • Learn about “restorative fire” and Bon Tempe Lake’s recent prescribed burns from an expert at the “Rooted in Connection” guided hike from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 30; meet at the Bon Tempe Lake Trailhead in Fairfax.
