Balbal Hot Spring Ban: Soaps, Shampoos Prohibited to Protect Water Purity
The district administration has banned soaps, shampoos, and detergents at the Balbal hot spring in Chatra to prevent environmental degradation and water impurity. This decision aims to preserve the spring's therapeutic properties, which are attributed to its oxygen and sulphur content. The ban comes as the hot spring attracts a large number of visitors, especially during the annual cattle fair.
