The official Kyogo thread (TM)
I cant work this whole Kyogo situation out, but it's time Davies does.
I reckon if we can unlock this kid, we could get ourselves out of this dip and instil a bit of confidence in the whole team and the fans.
A home Kyogo goal will lift the roof off the place.
It's time; give the lad a good few games, tell him his new hairstyle is sexy and ping every ball in the box you can.
There's no point in playing him 1-0 down at 60 mins and thumping long balls from defence with him standing in the centre circle.
Kyogo, without time to overthink 'would and will' convert from a fast paced, 10 chances a game. And he still frightens defenders because they dont know how to handle him.
Normally we would be saying,
"Ok but how do we get the ball in, our wingers are shit".
However.....it just so happens this season our wingers are the best thing about us bar King Klarer.
We've got enough pace and skill on the wings to get box side and whip a few grass cutters in across goal.
We - as a team - might have been worked out a bit, but no one has worked Kyogo out because no one knows what he is.
Yes, he's missed a couple of Emil Heskey's, but scored some legit goals ruled a foul for no reason - and in all of them he hits it quick without thinking.
He looked frightening against Ipswich at home, because he was full of confidence and we played to get the ball in the box for him and stansfield.
When did Davies forget that?
