James Ransone Dead: 'The Wire,' 'It: Chapter Two' & 'The Black Phone' Actor Dies at 46 Due to Apparent Suicide
James Ransone has tragically passed away.
The It: Chapter Two actor died at the age of 46 on Friday (December 19).
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner declared his death an apparent suicide, per People.

The medical examiner’s website lists the manner of death as suicide by hanging, per TMZ. The police responded to a call to a home where officers completed a death investigation report. Foul play is not suspected.
James is best known for playing Ziggy Sobotka in The Wire, and played the older Eddie Kaspbrak in It: Chapter Two. He also starred in Tangerine, and both The Black Phone and Black Phone 2.
His TV credits include Poker Face, Law & Order, and Hawaii Five-0. He also appeared in V/H/S 85, The First and SEAL Team, among many other roles.
James went to the Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Towson, Maryland, and lived in New York City for a time.
