Tim, who has been with the team since 1997, was calling the game alongside Todd Fedoruk. It was Todd who alerted Tim that they were still on-air after the comment was made. A recording of the incident has since been shared on X/Twitter.
After being informed, Tim is heard laughing before asking, “No we’re not. Are we?”
The Flyers later issued a statement announcing that Todd had been placed on a two-game suspension and apologizing for the remarks.
“We are aware of the inappropriate comment made during last night’s radio broadcast in the TV timeout of the Flyers-Sabres game,” the team said at the start of their statement.

Tim also released an official apology statement.
“During last night’s game in Buffalo, I made an error in judgment with my comments that were made when I thought we were in a commercial break. I recognize how offensive my remarks were, and the harm it has caused,” he began.
