Ex-Astronomer Employee Caught Warmly Embracing Her Married Boss at ColdPlay Concert Breaks Silence, Reveals the Reason Behind Her Career-Ending Decision

The infamous woman who went viral last summer for having an affectionate embrace with her married boss has finally broken her silence.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor reported, video of the married CEO of the tech company Astronomer Andy Byron and the company’s “Chief People Officer” Kristin Cabot went viral back in July as they were caught in a warm embrace on the ‘kiss cam’ at a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium near Boston.

Coldplay singer Chris Martin was commenting as the camera panned the concert crowd when the couple was seen snuggling, but then they got stunned looks on their faces when they saw themselves on the stadium video.

Each of the couple reacted as if they were caught, with Cabot turning around with her face buried in her hands and Byron quickly ducking out of view.

Cabot was then seen walking away.

Astronomer announced the following day that Byron had been placed on leave. He resigned the day after being placed on leave.

Cabot tendered her resignation from her position at the tech firm later that month.

Cabot has now revealed to the New York Times that the reason behind her career-ending decision was due to having a bit too much to drink.

“I made a bad decision and had a couple of High Noons and danced and acted inappropriately with my boss,” she told the Times.

“And it’s not nothing. And I took accountability, and I gave up my career for that,” she added. “That’s the price I chose to pay.”

Over the next several days following the viral video, Cabot received several death threats.

“I got 50 or 60,” she told the Times on Thursday.

Cabot also insisted that she never had sex with her boss and that night was the first time they had ever kissed each other.

Cabot added that she was now speaking out, as a teaching tool for her kids and because of the death threats she had received.

“I want my kids to know that you can make mistakes, and you can really screw up,” she explained to the Times.

“But you don’t have to be threatened to be killed for them.”
