Bears injury report: WRs Rome Odunze, Luther Burden ruled out for Packers game
The Bears will face the Packers without either Rome Odunze or Luther Burden. Both were ruled out Thursday after not practicing all week.
Odunze has been dealing with chronic foot issues since midseason. He did not play the Packers two weeks ago and was set to rejoin the team against the Browns, only to feel pain during pregame warmups and be ruled out.
Burden hurt his ankle after catching a screen pass in the third quarter Sunday.
Linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga was also ruled out with a hamstring problem.
Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who the Bears need to activate off injured reserve Friday in order for him to play, was ruled questionable after being limited in practice all week. He hurt his groin last month and missed four games.
Bears coach Ben Johnson said before practice that he's been pleased with the depth of the team's wide receivers room. Jahdae Walker figures to get the first chance to play if the Bears need to dip even further into their roster. J.P. Richardson and Maurice Alexander are on the practice squad and could earn a promotion, too.
"If called upon, I think they've done a great job soaking in the offense in over the course of the season so far," he said.
