Activist cycling for peace gets security to cross Kangpokpi
In a bold stride for unity, transgender activist Malem Thongam undertook a remarkable 2,300km peace journey, traversing the Kuki-held Kangpokpi district with the support of a heavy security detail. Despite concerns raised by the Committee on Tribal Unity (CoTU) regarding possible unrest, Thongam continued her 'Cycling for Manipur Peace' mission, joined by the Border Security Force.
