Colwyn Bay FC X Ysgol Bryn Elian MND Run
Students from local high school Ysgol Bryn Elian are set to join forces with Colwyn Bay Football Club to partake in the Motor Neurone Disease Association ‘Run 31’ challenge this January.
With the objective of increasing awareness of MND amongst pupils and the local community alongside raising funds towards the association’s vital work, the football club shall join forces with over 500 students as they aim to rack up the miles across the final week of January 2026.
Marking the end of the challenge on Friday 30th January, the school shall be visited by members of the Colwyn Bay first-team alongside the club’s mascot, Sammy The Seagull, as we make a joint donation of any funds raised to the charity.
Richard Hooper, Health & Wellbeing Progress Leader at Ysgol Bryn Elian, said: “Ysgol Bryn Elian learners & Staff are proud to support The Motor Neurone Disease Charity in collaboration with Colwyn Bay FC.
“We look forward to raising lots of money towards this great cause.”
