Southwest Airlines Just Announced a Massive Sale for U.S. Customers
Southwest Airlines is now offering what it has dubbed its "Trendiest. Sale. Ever" for customers looking to travel in the continental United States in the early part of 2026.
Nicknamed because of its reference to the omnipresent "6-7" meme, Southwest's "Trendiest. Sale. Ever" involves $67 basic one-way economy tickets for a number of flights in the first three months of the new year.
What to know about Southwest's 'trendy' sale
The budget airline opened the booking period for this new deal on Tuesday, and customers can purchase the $67 flights through 11:59 p.m. PT on Thursday, Dec. 18.
The tickets are limited to routes within the continental U.S. during the travel period of Jan. 6, 2026-March 4, 2026 only. Additionally, travel is valid on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but the advertised fares may be available on other days of the week, though that isn't guaranteed.
"Seats, days, and markets are limited," says Southwest's official website. "Fares may vary by destination, flight, and day of the week and won't be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods.
"Travel is available for one-way Basic fares unless otherwise specified."
Additionally, the basic fares are "nonrefundable and non-changeable except as allowed by our 24-hour cancellation policy." You can view all of the terms and conditions here.
