The 31-year-old Texas-born YouTuber, born Preston Arsement, has made millions over the years with his highly successful brand, and has become one of the most successful gaming channels on YouTube.

He launched the YouTube account TBNRfrags (“The Best Never Rest”) with his friends in 2010, and then his own channel PrestonYT in 2012, followed by PrestonPlayz in 2018. He mostly plays Minecraft, and has over 17 million subscribers on his own account. (He also streams on Twitch and TikTok.)
He married his wife, Brianna Arsement, in May of 2018. Brianna is a registered nurse and her own YouTube account has over 22 million subscribers.
In 2023, TBNR was approved by YouTube as the first-ever creator-owned MCN (multi-channel network), resulting in approximately 40 million views per day. TBNR now has over 100 employees, 9 channels and over 80 million followers.
As of 2023, Forbes reported that Preston brought in $34.6 million in creator earnings.
He has his own merchandise line, Fire Nation, and reportedly invests in game development and real estate, as well as owning Minecraft servers.
In a 2024 interview with Karat, he spoke about building a $100 million YouTube empire and making over $35 million alone in 2023.
“A lot of people probably don’t know this but our Minecraft servers generated over 25, almost $30 million in revenue and this is back with almost no overhead. We were working with a lot of awesome independent contractors and we had some great projects and great ideas…I could retire if I wanted to, but to me it just see seem like such a disservice to the amazing people that have put so much faith into into me and and now the company that they’ve helped build and even the viewers,” he explained.
At the end of 2025, Preston inked an advertising sales partnership with digital agency Studio71 for TBNR.
