The successful Apple TV series premiered in early November, and has quickly become the biggest show on the streamer.
The show stars Rhea Seehorn, Karolina Wydra and Carlos-Manuel Vesga.

The series was greenlit by Apple TV in a two-season straight-to-series order!
The show was already picked up for a second season.
Creator Vince Gilligan recently addressed where things will be going in the second season.
“At this moment, I have more of an idea of how the show should end than I usually do,. Certainly [more] than I did on Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul,” he told ScreenRant.
“Having said that, I will always quickly get rid of a good idea for a better idea. If one comes along, I’ll happily discard what I’m thinking of right now. [But] we have a general roadmap of where the show should go.”
“I don’t know how long the show should go… The biggest trick in this job is knowing when to leave the party. You want to leave people wanting more,” he added.
“You don’t want to be the guy with the lampshade on your head and everybody’s looking at their watch [wondering] why won’t he leave? So that’s one of the trickiest parts.”
“Every show before this one – Breaking Bad [or] Better Call Saul – someone would ask me a question. How long after season one [or] how many more seasons do you think you have? And then it turns out we had enough story for six [seasons of Saul], which was a very nice surprise. So in my mind’s eye, yet again, I’m thinking, I don’t know. Maybe three seasons for Pluribus. But maybe it goes past that. It is trickier [because] this one feels like it can’t go on forever… But none of them do,” he went on to explain.
Rhea also spoke about Season 2.
“I mean I know Vince and his incredible team of writers, they’re going to keep expanding it. They never just rev in place, but I hope to just keep getting to play with the complexity and the incredible authenticity of how human he’s allowing her to be and allowing me to play her. She really is this ultimate reluctant hero that is an Everyman, which I think is really fun up against his sci-fi backdrop, because she’s often behaving in ways that are not the best, but many of us can completely identify with why. So I hope we continue. This sort of very every man human in the middle of what’s being asked of her. [It] feels superhuman some days,” she said to Deadline.
According to crew members, the show is allegedly starting filming in the Spring of 2026.
Forbes notes that Season 1 began filming in February 2024 and released in November 25. By the same time schedule, we may not see Season 2 come until December 2027 or early 2028.
Pluribus reportedly cost $15 million per episode, which would be approximately $135 million for a nine-episode season.
