Has anyone seen this on FB:

Looks as if some people will be trying to disrupt or object to the planning app in the new year.
I've copied the text from the post for those sensible enough to nt have a FB account!
"Hello all,
We haven't posted for a while, but wanted to keep all the Birmingham Wheels community updated ...
You will know that the site has been sold to Knighthead and Birmingham City FC.
The legal protections for the various Motorsports arenas and speed skating etc are in place (as they have been for a few years), and should be key considerations during the planning application for the new football stadium etc.
These protections are that the sports that took place at Birmingham Wheels must be included in any redevelopment. Or must be provided with new stadiums of an equal (or better) standard.
These protections are in place after two government inspector reports - and yes they are inconvenient to the new owners.
However. the protections are fully supported by Sport England, and the National Planning Policy Framework.
Apparently, it has been reported to us today some clearance activity has started at Birmingham Wheels Park.
This is without planning approval (a similar situation to Perry Barr Speedway). The Council have been requested to halt any demolition works involving the existing sports facilities in accordance with adopted planning policy.
It would be good to get some drone footage of what is going on ... can anyone help with this???
For your information, we will be submitting representations to the Council on the current local plan review consultation to ensure that the consolidation of Birmingham Wheels is included as part of the Sports Quarter or that we are relocated.
We know some folks will be resigned to the fate of Wheels, but we, and many thousands of others, are not.
See you around the Raceways"
