Ranchi zoo implements winter care for animals
Ranchi's Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park is implementing extensive winter-care measures for its 1,544 animals. Heaters, blankets, and dry husks are being provided for carnivores, while herbivores receive straw. Bonfires are arranged for elephants, and dietary plans are adjusted with increased meat for carnivores and jaggery for herbivores. Experts are closely monitoring temperatures to ensure animal comfort during the cold season.
