2 from Manipur & Mizoram held with pistols, ammo near Mizoram border
In a significant bust, Cachar police intercepted two suspects hailing from Mizoram and Manipur, capturing them near the border with Mizoram while they were in possession of two handguns and live ammo. The apprehended individuals, Hmargaihzuol Hmar and Lalkhumlien Hmar, are believed to have been smuggling these firearms into the troubled Hmarkhawlien area.
