While the allegations were never confirmed, Kate reportedly wanted her former BFF “phased out” of their social circle. Royal author Andrew Lownie resurfaced the royal tea in a now-deleted November Substack post, but not before OK! Magazine picked up the story.
“Kate was devastated by the rumors of the affair. She told William he was not allowed to go anywhere near Rose again,” a palace insider told Lownie. “Since the rumors of the affair surfaced back in 2019, Kate and William have been through counseling and, although their marriage can be rocky at times, it’s safe to say that they won’t split anytime soon.”
But in this era of William and Kate, their bond is unbreakable. The trials and tribulations they’ve been through over the last year have proven that they are royal endgame.
“Kate would never discuss this publicly, but she finds that the strength William displayed throughout her ordeal has made him more attractive, irresistible even,” a source told Life & Style in December 2024. “It definitely helped them find their spark again.”
