College Football Bowl Schedule - There Are 2 Games Today
The college football bowl season officially kicked off over the weekend with Washington blowing out Boise State in the LA Bowl by a final score of 38-10. Just a few days later, Jacksonville State took down Troy in a tight 17-13 contest in the Veterans Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 16 - the start of five-straight days with a college football bowl game.
As the college football world awaits the first College Football Playoff game between Alabama and Oklahoma on Friday, Dec. 19, there are plenty of appetizers to go around.
2 College Football Bowl Games Take Center Stage on Wednesday
On Wednesday, Dec. 17 there are two bowl games scheduled to take place. First up, Old Dominion will take on South Florida in the Cure Bowl before Louisiana faces off against Delaware in the 68 Ventures Bowl.
Old Dominion enters the contest on a five-game winning streak while South Florida has won two-straight and three of the last four. Both teams sport 9-3 records and hope to end the season with double-digit wins.
In the second game of the evening, Louisiana won four-straight games to end the season and become bowl eligible after a 2-6 start to the 2025 campaign. Delaware won its final game of the season in a 61-31 rout over UTEP to punch its ticket to the postseason.

- Louisiana vs. Delaware in the 68 Ventures Bowl at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
The College Football Playoff looms with Alabama and Oklahoma set to play on Dec. 19 while Texas A&M hosts Miami, Ole Miss welcomes Tulane and Oregon squares off against James Madison on Dec. 20.
