Cachar bans movement along Indo-Bangla border after dark
In a bid to enhance security, the Cachar district administration has established stringent night-time curfews along the 32-km stretch of the Indo-Bangladesh border. This measure aims to deter extremist activity and curb illegal crossings. From dusk till dawn, movement within a one-kilometer radius is strictly forbidden for both individuals and goods.
