St. Denis Medical is airing its final new episode of 2025 this evening (Monday, December 15)!

The episode, called “A Waste of Time and Marble,” airs at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Here’s an episode synopsis: “With the threat of a nurse walkout, Alex is caught between her colleagues and Joyce, Ron and Bruce go above and beyond to help an unexpected patient.”

However, fans might be curious to know why the show won’t be back for a little while.

The next new episode of St. Denis Medical airs on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

This is because tonight’s episode is a fall finale. As is the case with many network TV shows, St. Denis Medical takes a little holiday hiatus before airing new episodes post-New Year’s.

However, it isn’t a huge wait… and there’s a guest star in the fall finale!

“Tonight’s new episode of #StDenisMedical is the fall finale and was written by me and directed by the iconic Heather Jack! And guest starring Nico Santos!!! This episode has it all: twists, turns, shade, and tea, I’m telling you!! We had such a fun week on set and I know you can see it in the episode. Watch it tonight on @nbc or tomorrow on Peacock!,” writer Naomi Ekperigin teased on Instagram.

“Filipino nurses, assemble! ???? Nico Santos returns to #StDenisMedical TONIGHT 8/7c on NBC and Peacock,” the network announced, along with a teaser video.
