The four-star point guard broke down some of his options to ZAGSBLOG in Rock Hill:
Rutgers: “Great man. Me and coach T.J. [Thompson] have a great relationship. So looking forward to that visit man.”
Seton Hall: “Shaheen [Holloway] is known for playing small guards. Even when he was at St. Peter’s and they ended up beating Purdue, then they beat a couple other people, they had a lot of small guards on that team. So I really like that. And he’s just like an in the mud type guy, which fits me. So I like all of that.”
Texas Tech: “I love everything about them too. Development there is big. Coach [Grant] McCasland and I have built a great relationship. Coach [Kellen] Buffington was actually here today, so we’ve been talking throughout the weekend. Real cool dude, and real cool staff in general.”
Bivins previously gave thoughts on some of his other options here. When picking a school, Bivins will be focused on the development program, and he wants a coach that truly cares about him.
The point guard is ranked the No. 77 overall prospect in the 2026 class by 247Sports. When speaking with scouts this summer, Bivins consistently came up as a player they were impressed with.
