‘DISGRACEFUL’: Brown University president torched for her cluelessness long after fatal shooting
The president of Brown University is coming under fire for her apparent cluelessness regarding Saturday’s shooting at the Ivy League school that killed two students and left nine others wounded.
Some six hours after gunfire erupted on campus in Providence, Rhode Island, college President Christina Paxson said she had no idea of what had been taking place in the classroom at the time of the incident.
Reporter Dan Jaehnig of NBC 10 WJAR asked Paxson, “President, with all due respect, six hours after the shooting and you said you don’t know what was going on in that classroom? How does that happen? Were they taking an exam? Were they meeting for a club?”
“I don’t know. I don’t know,” Paxson admitted.
The incredulous reporter replied: “Six hours later and you’re the president and you don’t know.”
“I do not know,” Paxson reiterated.
“Well, that’s kind of concerning,” the reporter opined.

Alec Lace of “The Alec Lace Show” commented: “2 People Dead, Several Wounded, 6 Hours Ago, 816 Cameras, 0 Pictures of the Suspect, 71k a Year Tuition. If my kid was attending Brown University I’d pull him out ASAP. DISGRACEFUL.
Meanwhile, police announced a person of interest in their twenties was in custody Sunday, and that authorities were not searching for anyone else.
Col. Oscar Perez, the Providence police chief, refused to say if the person being held had any connection to Brown.
A reporter noted that Brown University is the most camera-ridden piece of real estate in Rhod Island, “and yet there seems to be little or no video evidence” outside of the clip of the person of interest walking on the street.
“What we shared with you the other day is what we have that we could share,” Perez answered. “We’re continuing to collect evidence. As we speak, we have detectives out there.”
WOW! Reporters are STILL hounding Providence officials over the fact there’s no video from inside Brown University
