Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Video Shows How She Plans to ‘Create Magic’ for Her Daughter Autumn’s Birthday

Jennifer Love Hewitt always goes all out for her kids’ birthday parties and this time around, she’s showing fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at it all!
On Dec 13, Hewitt shared a video of herself prepping for her daughter’s upcoming birthday on her Instagram. She shared the video with the caption reading, “Making my daughter’s birthday extra special with all the party must-haves from the Party Shop by @michaelsstores ! Party planning has never been this easy or this cute! 💖 Everything you need in one place to make your celebration come to life. 🎉✨”
In preparation for Autumn’s 12th birthday, Hewitt showed how she’s getting ready at the Michael’s party shop section, where she bought gold balloons, streamers, and more for her white-gold winter-themed birthday party. We got to see how expansive it all is and how Hewitt is prepping to “create magic” for her eldest!
In 2024, Autumn had a “coastal cowgirl” party, and a Bejeweled theme in 2023, and in 2021, she had an LOL doll-themed party! It’s always such a cool time and it gives us all the inspo for our own kids’ parties.
For those who don’t know, the I Know What You Did Last Summer star and her husband Brian Hallisay have welcomed three kids since tying the knot in Nov 2013. They welcomed their eldest: a daughter named Autumn James, born in Nov 2013, only a few days after tying the knot. Since then, they’ve also welcomed two sons named Atticus James, born in June 2015, and Aiden James, born in Aug 2021.
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Hewitt talked about her beloved book, Inheriting Magic: My Journey Through Grief, Joy, Celebration, and Making Every Day Magical, and how she always tries to make magic for her kids. “I hope that people know a little bit more about us when the book is over and it’ll be inspiring to people to kind of go create their own magic. I hope that my mom is looking down and feeling really proud,” she said.
