Sunnyvale property owners can get free trees
Free trees
The Valley Transportation Authority has partnered with Our City Forest to offer free trees to properties in the City of Sunnyvale. This partnership is designed to restore and enhance greenery around specific project areas, replace trees that were removed due to construction and support the reforestation of Sunnyvale.

Winter Harmonies
Sunnyvale Community Players present their Winter Harmonies Concert on Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the Sunnyvale Theatre, 550 E. Remington Drive.
The concert features holiday music performed by Katie Lannin, Nick Mandracchia, Jessica Lubke, Anthony Eiras, Gabrielle Goodman, Mercedes Dawnte Long, Peter Spoelstra, Caitlin Papp and Leah Kennedy.

Electric upgrades
Silicon Valley Clean Energy, a Sunnyvale-based green energy aggregator, is offering a new Full-Service Home Upgrades program for residents who want to replace gas appliances with electric versions.
Rebates start at $8,750. Program features include a free home energy assessment, professional installation and help with permits, and free installation for income-qualified residents.
