Medicos call off hunger strike on minister’s assurance
Ayurvedic and homeopathic medical students in Odisha ended their hunger strike after Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling assured them of fulfilling their demands. These include creating new Ayush medical officer posts, developing college facilities, and establishing a state Ayush department. The minister also promised dynamic stipends and improved diagnostic facilities in Ayush hospitals.
