Part of Dartford town centre cordoned off as two men arrested following attack
Two men have been arrested after a man was attacked in a town centre.
Police cordoned off part of Dartford town centre following the incident in Market Street at about 11pm last night.
Officers shut off the area around the Turkish restaurant Efes, but the cordon was lifted at 10.20am.
The victim’s injuries are not reported to be life-changing or threatening.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 11pm on Friday, December 12, to reports of an assault on Dartford High Street.
“Officers attended alongside paramedics, who took the victim to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not reported to be life-changing or threatening.
”Two men, a 40-year-old from Plumstead in London, and a 33-year-old from Dartford, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
“Patrols remain at the scene.”
