'Stranger Things' Star Seemingly Gives Away a Huge Season 5 Spoiler
The wildly popular Netflix program Stranger Things first debuted on July 15, 2016, in the U.S., and now, nearly a decade later, they're finally calling it quits. Creators Matt and Ross Duffer officially announced that the fifth season of the show would be its last, so there's increased excitement around that season.
The final season of Stranger Things dropped its first four episodes on Nov. 26, 2025, and the next three arrive on Christmas Day. Then, the series finale will debut on New Year's Eve.
So, what's to come from the remaining episodes? Well, Noah Schnapp has appeared to accidentally spill the beans on important plot details about the final episodes of Stranger Things in a new interview.
Stranger Things Spoilers
Last week, Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, did an appearance with TV Guide this week. That's where he spilled the beans.
In the slip-up, according to a clip from @Movies_analyst on X, he dished on a particular character.
"Noah Schnapp accidentally spoiled Stranger Things 5 by saying the most misunderstood character is 'lowkey Vecna,'" he said. "Millie Bobby Brown immediately told him to 'shut up.'"
The post adds, "The Duffer Brothers have compared Vecna to Darth Vader — hinting the twist may mirror 'Star Wars' Anakin’s arc, with Vecna possibly finding redemption against the Mind Flayer."
Noah Schnapp Slips Again Before Stranger Things Finale
Last week, Schnapp also did an appearance with Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin on an episode of the Hot Ones spin-off program Hot Ones Versus. There, his spoiler was so obvious that the episode was re-edited to take it out.
In this slip-up, as Lad Bible notes, viewers realized "that Schnapp straight up spoiled that Will created the tunnels featured in season 2 while he was under the control of Vecna… and that also, Vecna is under the control of an entirely different big bad: the Mind Flayer."
So, that's new information that will spoil things a bit for viewers when the season finale approaches.
