New 9-1-1 Audio Surfaces as Details Around Sherrone Moore's Detention Continue to Develop
Sherrone Moore has been in the news since he was fired by Michigan as their head coach and then detained by police. Now, audio from a 9-1-1 call made around the same time has been made public.
If you are not aware, on Wednesday (December 10), the university announced that Moore, 39, had been fired and an investigation suggested he had allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with a staffer. Hours after his firing, Moore was detained by police.
Audio from a 9-1-1 call has since been published; however, authorities have not identified the subject of the call, and the caller did not mention Moore by name. According to People, the call’s timestamps fall within a similar timeframe to when Moore was taken into custody. Again, no official confirmation has been made linking Moore to the call.
In the recording, the caller reported that “a male was at the location in the house attacking her” and said he had been “stalking her for months.” These statements were made by the caller and have not been attributed to Moore by law enforcement.
