Tottenham target Antoine Semenyo has a clear £65m transfer preference in January
Tottenham are one of three clubs chasing Antoine Semenyo, and the Bournemouth winger has a clear preference for where he wants to end up in January.
Clubs around the Premier League and Europe know that Semenyo can leave Bournemouth for £65m in January, and several of them are making advances towards the winger in the weeks leading up to the transfer window.
One of those is Tottenham, who have intensified their pursuit of Semenyo, according to recent reports.
A number of publications have claimed over the last few weeks that Spurs face a challenge from Man City and Liverpool for Semenyo, and it has now been revealed that the player has a clear top choice.
Tottenham target Antoine Semenyo wants to join Liverpool
A new report from TEAMtalk has now claimed that Spurs, Man City, Man United and Liverpool are all showing ‘strong interest’ in the Bournemouth star.
The outlet says that Semenyo, in theory, would be open to joining any of those clubs, but his clear preference is to move to Anfield.
The winger can see himself playing for Liverpool and has informed parties that Merseyside is his preferred destination if he is to leave the Vitality Stadium in January.
Do Bournemouth expect Semenyo to leave in January?
TEAMtalk say that there is now ‘a real chance’ that the Ghana international exits the South Coast club in the upcoming transfer window.
The Cherries are preparing themselves for this possibility and have begun their groundwork on potential replacements.
The publication asserts that with Mohammed Salah pushing to leave Liverpool in January, a move to Anfield may indeed ‘work out’ for Semenyo.
