BSL launches chequered plates for rail
Jharkhand's Bokaro Steel Plant has commenced manufacturing chequered steel plates, a significant step for domestic production and the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission. This move positions BSL as a new competitor in a market previously dominated by smaller players. With an annual national demand of 3.6 lakh tonnes, BSL aims for substantial monthly output, boosting its revenue with higher per-tonne realization.
