Jharkhand is enhancing dispute resolution through mediation training for 56 senior judicial officers. This initiative aims to significantly reduce the backlog of pending cases. Justice SN Prasad emphasized mediation's role in peaceful settlements and urged performance reviews for mediators to ensure effectiveness. The program has already seen success, disposing of 3,883 cases in a recent 90-day period.
