Tottenham predicted XI vs Slavia Prague as Thomas Frank makes 3 changes for Champions League

Spurs will be aiming for a victory when Slavia Prague come to visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night, and we have now attempted to predict the Dane’s Tottenham XI to take on the Czech side.

Tottenham Hotspur have three Champions League games remaining to play as they aim to advance to the round of 16 in the competition.

Spurs currently find themselves in 16th place, two points off eighth, and they take on Slavia Prague, who are in 31st place with three points, in matchday six of the league phase.

A victory is crucial for Tottenham on Tuesday night if they are to give themselves a chance of making it into the automatic qualification places.

Heung-min Son will be present at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he returns to bid farewell to the Tottenham faithful, and everyone on the pitch will be aiming to give him a proper send-off with a victory.

We have now attempted to predict his starting XI for Tuesday’s encounter.

Tottenham predicted XI vs Slavia Prague

Goalkeeper – Guglielmo Vicario: The Italian managed a clean sheet last time out against Brentford and did the basics right, and he should continue between the sticks here.

Right-back – Pedro Porro: A much-improved performance from Porro on Saturday, with the full back finding a good balance with overlapping while creating from deep, and he could be a threat once more on Tuesday.

Centre-back – Cristian Romero: No goals last time out against Brentford, but he was part of the Tottenham backline that kept their first clean sheet since October, and we expect Frank to stick with his captain during the midweek.

Centre-back – Micky van de Ven: He was immense against the Bees, making recovery tackles while sticking close to Igor Thiago, and he should keep his spot once more.

Left-back – Djed Spence: Udogie is currently carrying a knock and is a doubt for Tuesday, so that should make it back-to-back starts for Spence.

Pivot midfielder – Joao Palhinha: The Portuguese was rested against Brentford with Rodrigo Bentancur featuring as one of the pivots, but we expect Frank to rest the Uruguayan for Palhinha.

Pivot midfielder – Lucas Bergvall: It could be a fresh pivot pairing with Archie Gray, also dropping to the bench after his standout display against Brentford, and that should give way for Bergvall.

Centre midfielder – Xavi Simons: The Dutchman put on quite a show in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Brentford by grabbing a goal and an assist, and with Slavia Prague visiting the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, he will be looking to build on that display.

Right winger – Mohammed Kudus: The wide man is more or less a nailed-on starter, and we expect that he will continue on the right in this tie.

Striker – Randal Kolo Muani: The Frenchman was taken off early against Brentford with Frank perhaps having this fixture in mind. Richarlison could be rested, and Muani will lead the line.

Left winger – Wilson Odobert: Tuesday’s clash could see Wilson Odobert return to the Tottenham squad, having not featured from the off in the last five Spurs matches.
