This year, Black Friday 2025 falls on Friday, November 28th. Although that isn’t too far away at just over two weeks, I can think of a few good reasons to shop right now. For one, Thanksgiving travel can be a lot. If you know you could use a new pair of shoes that are travel-friendly and oh-so comfortable, there’s a good pair of Ons for you (at a discount and under $100). In fact, several retailers who are having early or pre-Black Friday sales right now are offering some really good discounts for best-selling On Cloud running shoes. There’s something about the look of the On Cloudnova that I’ve always liked, ad it’s made even better knowing how comfortable it actually is. Other fans of the shoe liked how lightweight they were, and one even loved how wide feet-friendly it was. “I have the old generation and the new generation, and love both!” they wrote. “Very lightweight shoe. I am on my feet all day and my legs and feet don’t hurt. I also have wide feet and my toes are super happy in these. And they last forever. If an extra bit of height and monster-level cushioning is what you’re after in a running shoe, you’ve got to check out the On Cloudmonster 2. This is the second generation of the On fan-favorite, and is described as having “more cushioning, more propulsion, and added energy return.” Think, more bounce with each step. The shoe is available in both men’s and women’s sizes, and come in over five colorways each.

The On Cloudzone is described as an “all-day shoe with a minimalist design and a plush tongue for added comfort.” It’s a solid everyday shoe with a stylish design that you can easily wear for work or a casual outing. The shoe is available in women’s sizes in the color rosebrown, and men’s in the color limelight (above).

As a shopping editor who regularly covers On running shoes (both sales and new launches), there are two places I’d go first to find the best On Cloud running shoe deals to shop over Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
On’s website: If you’re looking for the biggest selection of on-sale styles, you’ll want to head on over to On’s online store first. You’re sure to find the biggest selection of shoes and performance gear on sale, which means you’ll have a nice selection of best-sellers, exclusive designs, and colorways you may not find anywhere else. Plus, the discounts are pretty good as well. Last year, I saw clothing deals for up to 50% off while shoes were on sale for up to 40% (similar to how it is now).
Nordstrom: Looking to score the craziest deals? There’s a good chance you’ll find those at Nordstrom. If you’re ready to shop right now, Nordstrom is having a big early Black Friday Sale, which offers an extra 30% off already reduced prices (see a few of their jaw-dropping HOKA deals here). With their sale, you can find On sneakers starting at less than $70 — that rarely ever happens. The only thing is, Nordstrom’s selection is fairly limited. Plus, with the huge discounts right now, sizes are selling fast. Since this is an early Black Friday sale, I expect to see more styles to be added on during the week of Thanksgiving. So, be sure to keep an eye out for that.

If On does Black Friday and Cyber Monday like they did in 2024, you can expect to score those deep discounts right now. While they didn’t exactly label it a “Black Friday Sale,” On highlighted their Last Season section, which offers shoes, clothing, and more for up to 50% off. Styles like the On Cloudnova (a shopping editor-fave), the On Cloudflyer 4, and the original Cloudmonster were just a few fan-faves included in the sale. Whether you’re looking for specific colorways, styles, or types of shoe for your particular needs, On pretty much had something for everyone.
