Horton road closed due to broke down 'super load'
HORTON (KSNT) - Kansas transportation authorities report that a road in Horton is closed after a super load truck carrying a generator broke down within the city limits.
According to KanDrive.gov, 110th Street in Horton is currently closed due to a traffic incident. KanDrive reports the road is closed between US 75 Highway and US 73 Highway.
Kansas transportation authorities report that a super load is broken down. Drivers are encouraged to find an alternative route.
Horton Chief of Police Dennis Entrikin said the superload is a long, wide trailer. He said a crane is coming to move the generator onto another trailer and that traffic disruptions may be cleared within the next couple of hours.
