Middle Grove teen charged after allegedly breaking person's jaw
GREENFIELD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Middle Grove teenager has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted another person and broke their jaw, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office. Braedon Loveday, 18, faces a felony charge.
Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Hyspot Road in the town of Greenfield on September 20 following a report of an assault. Authorities said that Loveday had intentionally kicked and punched the victim in the head, ribs and other body areas, causing serious injuries.
The victim was treated at Saratoga Hospital before being transferred to Albany Medical Center with multiple mandibular fractures, according to the sheriff's office. The 18-year-old was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
Loveday was arraigned in Milton Town Court. He is reportedly being held at the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings at Greenfield Town Court.
