Tottenham Hotspur now know what kind of offer it will take to land Eberechi Eze, with Arsenal’s hesitation opening the door for the Lilywhites to win the race for the Crystal Palace star.
It emerged a few days ago that Thomas Frank had given the green light for Tottenham to sign Eze. However, Arsenal were also said to still be interested in the Palace star.

According to TEAMtalk, Spurs are now showing a ‘growing willingness’ to explore a deal for the Eagles star, having first begun talks last Wednesday.
The report says that Eze has remained a player of interest for the Lilywhites despite them also holding negotiations with Man City for Savinho.
Tottenham Hotspur now have ‘a clear grasp’ of the financial terms required to tempt Palace into selling their star man, with the South London club thought to be demanding a fee in excess of £60m.
Spurs see Eze as a versatile option who can operate as a ten while also providing more depth to the left side of the attack.
While the England international is continuing to wait patiently right now, he knows that Palace will sell if a strong offer arrives before the end of the month.
Arsenal are having doubts about a move for Eze
TEAMtalk say that while the Palace star has a desire to join Arsenal, he has been forced to wait and keep an open mind about his next move as the Gunners have not substantiated their interest.
The outlet reveals that there is hesitation within the Arsenal hierarchy over pushing ahead with a move for the former QPR man, as the club primarily view him as a number ten.
There are doubts at the Emirates hierarchy over whether there is sufficient room in the squad to justify a significant outlay on an attacking midfielder.
