The Red Arrows are taking to the skies this weekend, with flypasts and performances at a number of locations.

Fans in the north-west of England may be able to spot the display team of the Royal Air Force as they make their way to performances this weekend.

The Red Arrows, which have been flying since 1965, will officially display their trademark close formations and precision flying at Blackpool Air Show on Saturday, before making their way to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo flypast.

They will then make a second appearance at Blackpool Airshow on Sunday, closing the festivities at around 5pm before flying on to their base at RAF Waddington, in Lincolnshire.
