August 1st brings a new series titled Chief of War and we are excited! Based on a true story, Chief of War follows a warrior played by Jason Momoa as he embarks on a mission to save his people and land from war and potential colonization. Chief of War gives everyone the Indigenous perspective on these events and how impactful this history was to the Hawaiian Islands. Chief of War will be streaming on Apple TV+.
Perfect Match – Season 3
Perfect Match is back for its third season on August 1st. The premise of the show is to couple up reality tv stars and force them to compete in competitions designed to test their connections and stir up some drama. The winners of the challenge get the ultimate power of deciding who couples up, who is left single, and who has to leave altogether. Perfect Match is streaming on Netflix.
Wednesday – Season 2, Part 1
On August 6th, Wednesday, full of woe is back for season 2. On August 6th, Part 1 of Season 2 will be released, and the first six minutes of the first episode is already available to watch. The season will pick back up with Wednesday on summer vacation doing totally normal things like trying to catch the Kansas City Scalper. Certainly we are all excited to see how she pulls that off as well as the reunion between her and Enid at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday is streaming on Netflix.
Eyes of Wakanda – Season 1
Wakanda is truly forever, and Eyes of Wakanda is making sure that’s true by coming to our screens on August 6th. Eyes of Wakanda is an animated action series that follows Wakandan warriors throughout history as they brace themselves for harrowing missions and close encounters to retrieve Vibranium artifacts. Eyes of Wakanda will be streaming on Disney+.
Alien: Earth – Season 1
On August 12th, Alien fans can rejoice as they have another of their favorite sci-fi installment to watch. Alien: Earth is a series that will take place 2 years before the original Alien film, where the Earth is struck by a mysterious vessel from space. After a group of tactical soldiers discover the vessel, they realize what is contained inside is not at all friendly. Alien: Earth will be streaming on Hulu.
