Queens murder-suicide leaves woman and toddler dead, 1 in critical condition: sources
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – One person was found stabbed to death in a Queens home in what appears to be a murder-suicide, Saturday evening, sources said.
Officers received a 911 call at 7:09 p.m. for a home located at 65-35 Forest Avenue. A man and woman were found with stab wounds to various parts of their body, authorities said.
A 2-year-old girl was also found to have injuries. Her injuries remain unclear at this time.
A 54-year-old man was found to have stab wounds to his chest, and a 41-year-old woman had stab wounds to her neck and chest, police said.
Numerous ambulances were called to assist, sources say.
Emergency Medical Services transported all three to a local hospital. The 41-year-old woman was pronounced dead by hospital staff.
The 2-year-old girl was also taken to a local hospital. She was later pronounced deceased, police said.
The man from the Queens home remains in critical condition, authorities said.
It remains unclear what the relationship between the three is. Other details were not immediately available. Authorities said a full investigation remains ongoing.
