Queens man accused of killing estranged wife's boyfriend: sources
COLLEGE POINT, Queens (PIX11) --- A man is accused of shooting his estranged wife’s boyfriend to death in front of the victim's home in Queens Thursday night, according to police and sources.
Jose Centeno, 55, allegedly gunned down 50-year-old Antonio Cantor in front of 28-02 119th St. in College Point at around 10:30 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Sources said Centeno and his wife were separated when the woman began dating the victim.
Cantor was shot multiple times in the chest and stomach in the apparent love-triangle dispute, sources and police said. He was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
Centeno allegedly fled in a dark-colored car after the shooting and turned himself in on Friday, sources said.
He was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
