Woman takes N train on joyride through Queens subway
ASTORIA, Queens (PIX11) -- Police are on the hunt for a woman who took a subway train for a joyride early Thursday morning.
The woman managed to break into a locked N train at the Broadway subway station in Astoria, Queens at 4:30 a.m., police said.
She then drove the train one stop to the 36th Avenue subway station and ran away, according to authorities.
It was not immediately made clear how the woman gained access to the train.
A representative for the MTA did not give any further information on the incident but said it did not impact service.
